PRACTICE starts the week of September 14th for ALL teams! Note the adjustments of time and in some cases dates, due to our need to consolidate some teams. The practice schedule is as follows:
Games are a "Go"!
We received word from Titan Football with an update on what to expect for games. Again, COVID has played a bad hand, so games will NOT be held in East Troy. All Games will be away at various locations. Games will be held on the 5 Saturdays in October. We have been told to expect that times and locations will be released the week OF the game. The AAYFL could not guarantee a schedule to Titan Football due to the fact that they are unable to host. Titans are basically slotted in as AAYFL find teams looking for competition.
We have been reassured that our Titan cheerleaders and parents are welcome and wanted at these games. We are excited to have a season no matter how crazy it gets!
The Coaching Staff is certainly excited to get the season started and SEE all of our cheerleaders! We have much to share for our upcoming season, so read on!
REGISTRATION is still open! If you have not yet registered, please visit www.etcheer.com and register today! All costs have been outlined on the registration page. Due to the restrictions of COVID19 and the many event cancellations, we are currently focusing on the game season only, and all fees are reflective of the current situation. Payment options can be found under the Parent Resource page on the website.
PRACTICE starts the week of September 14th for ALL teams! This is a delay from our originally scheduled date! The practice schedule is as follows:
LOCATION: Practice will be held outside in the baseball field located at Doubek/Administration Offices. Cheerleaders will need to dress for the weather. We encourage bringing water bottles, and a beach towel. Stunt and tumbling skills will be very limited due to the outdoor field environment. We are still waiting for the school district to allow youth and community groups to hold practices and events inside their buildings, so please know this is our only choice at this time. Practice will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather (i.e. rain)
GAMES are scheduled to start October 3rd, and will be on every Saturday through October 31st. All games will be AWAY as the Titan Football Club was not given permission to use the ETHS field. Parents will need to drive/carpool their cheerleader to/from games.
SAFETY is top of mind for everyone right now! In a separate communication you will receive our guidelines pertaining to COVID19 and our cheer gathering guidelines (practices and games). However, there are some immediate details we want everyone to be aware of prior to starting practice next week.
COMMUNICATION this year will be via BAND. BAND is an app that you will need to download, and is compatible on Android and IOS devices. You must be a registered member to gain access. Please use the link below to join the program BAND. Once you have joined there another invitation to your cheerleader's specific TEAM BAND will be sent to you. We do want parents to be members of BOTH the program and team bands, as each serve different purposes. Be certain to ALLOW notifications to make sure you don't miss any important notices.
